Is Charging System Same For 60 & 90 Watt Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center

Question:

I have an RV with this unit and I was thinking about putting a 2600 watt RMS amplified stereo system direct to my 12 volt battery with a 30 farad capacitor. My worry is it wont be able to keep the battery charged being run long periods of time with the drain from the load? Even with the capacitor. So I had 3 thoughts? Either upgrade this 60 amp to the 90 amp version which I cant tell if the 12 volt charging system would be more or the same? Or do I just put the 12 volt system on a dedicated charging synwave system? And if so what is my best option for lets say an extra 3000 watts as to what I already have? Option 3 ad another battery wired parallel and hope it keeps them charged? I hope you understand what Im asking, not your average question, Thanks

Ok, I'll try and take these one by one, and for your first question, the charging system is going to be the same for the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 60 Amp # PD4560K18LS8 and 90 amp # PD4590K18LS8.

In regards to adding wattage like the 3,000 or so you are looking for, the only thing we can offer and the only thing I'm aware of that will do so is an inverter generator, the Firman 3,300-Watt Portable RV Dual Fuel Inverter Generator - Propane or Gas - Electric Start # FIR54FR.

A generator doesn't seem feasible for a stereo though, so your best option is likely the latter which is utilizing another battery and the current charger of the # PD4560K18LS8. The charger on this unit is about as good as it gets and will automatically begin charging as needed; that said, no matter what you are still going to have to monitor your power usage, there's just no way around that as there are always going to be limitations in an RV based on the power you have available and the time it takes to charge.
