To flat tow your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, you will need the following components: tow bar, base plate kit, safety cables, wiring, supplemental braking system and, possibly, a high-low adapter. I will give my recommendations for each of these components for you. I have also included a link to an article discussing the flat tow components for you.

The tow bar will connect your RV and towed vehicle. The tow bar I recommend is the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # RM-522. I recommend the Falcon because it has cable guides to protect your wires and safety cables.

The base plate kit I recommend for Silverado is the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-523199-5. I recommend the # RM-523199-5 because it has removable arms to give you clean look when you aren't towing your truck.

The supplemental braking system I recommend is the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR. The reason I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot is because it is portable and easy to move from vehicle to vehicle.

Safety Cables and Wiring - RoadMaster Falcon 2 and Falcon All-Terrain Combo Towing Kit with Straight Wiring
Item # RM-9243-1. The # RM-9243-1 has both the safety cables and wiring in one package.

You may also need a high-low adapter to get your towed vehicle into the "Safety Zone" when hooked up to your tow bar. I have linked an article describing how to you determine the high-low adapter you will need and a link to all of our high-low adapters.
