The Draw-Tite # 75278 isn't a fit for a Malibu, it's a fit for various GM minivans, such as:
• 1999 - 2005 Pontiac Montana
• 2005 - 2007 Saturn Relay
• 1997 - 2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette
• 2005 - 2007 Buick Terraza
• 1997 - 1999 Pontiac Trans Sport Van
• 2005 - 2009 Chevrolet Uplander
• 1997 - 2005 Chevrolet Venture
• 2005 - 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6 Extended Wheelbase
• 2005 - 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6 Regular Wheelbase
For your 2015 Chevy Malibu, I'd recommend the Curt Class II hitch, part # C12115 which fits all 2015 Malibu models. If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll need a trailer wiring harness like # C56176. For a ball mount, use # C45017, you'll also need a # PC2 hitch pin. For a trailer ball, use # 19256 for a 1-7/8 or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.
I've linked to an install video for the hitch I recommended.
