Just comparing your video with the instruction sheet and it doesnt say anything about using a 30 amp breaker. Should I be using one? Thanks

When installing a brake controller like the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195 in a 2008 Chevy Silverado a 30 amp circuit breaker is not necessary for completing the install because when you install the controller using the factory wiring it actually runs through the fuse block which protects the circuit, so an additional circuit breaker is not needed.
Check out the FAQ article I attached on how to install a brake controller on your generation of Silverado, this will show you exactly how to complete the installation.
