Recommended Roof Rack Options 2020 Toyota RAV4 Adventure

We are looking at either the Curt or the Rhino roof rack for our Rav. At this point, we only have the raised side bars. Do we need to purchase the cross bars to attach these roof racks? Which one is a better fit for this car? We prefer to have the longest roof rack we can get. Our Rav Adventure does not have a sun roof.

To attach a roof rack to your 2020 Toyota RAV4 Adventure, you will need the cross bars (roof racks) since your RAV4 only has the raised side bars. The good thing about the roof racks is they can be left on your vehicle if you are not using the cargo basket and can be used as a kayak carrier. You can also add accessories for the roof racks later on.
The roof rack I recommend for your RAV4 is the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero. This rack is made up of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 49" Long - Qty 2 # RRVA126B-2 and the Rhino-Rack SX Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Raised Factory Side Rails - Qty 4 # RRSX100.
