I have an older model swagman XC 2 bike hitch that fits a 2 inch trailer hitch how can I convert it to fit a 1-1/4 trailer hitch

It sounds like you need the Replacement 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch Shank for Swagman XC Series Bike Carriers # P306. This product can be used on older model Swagman XC bike racks that originally only were designed for 2 inch hitches to allow them to be used on 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hitches like you have.
