Is 10 Amp Fuse Enough For Dometic RV Water Heater DMC74FR
Updated 11/08/2021 | Published 11/05/2021 >
Question:
I want to replace my Girard tankless water heater with Dometic DMC74FR. My current Girard is powered through a 10 amp fuse. The Dometic documentation recommends that the heater be directly connected to the house batteries. My question is: Is the 10 amp fuse large enough to power the Dometic DMC74FR? Thanks

I reached out to Dometic, who said that for when just using the gas, a 10 amp fuse will be large enough for the Dometic water heater you asked about:
