Question:
I have a 2000 jeep wrangler sport 4x4 with a road master explorer tow bar. Can all or part of this tow bar/attachments be used on a 2012 colorado extra cab 4 wheel drive? Thanks

A vehicle base plate kit is designed and engineered to fit a specific vehicle. I am sorry to say that the base plate kit from your 2000 Wrangler will not fit on your Colorado.
As long as your Colorado is not an Extreme or Z71 model, you can use the # 3122-1 base plate kit.
I have linked you to several of our flat towing FAQ articles that you might find helpful.
