Recommended Tail Light Wiring For Flat-Towed 2018 Jeep Cherokee With Bike Rack Blocking Taillights

We had Roadmaster diode kit # RM-15267 installed on our toad to activate the rear lights on our 2018 Jeep Cherokee Overland. We also had a Curt receiver hitch and light harness installed at the same time. We are considering carrying our bikes in a rear hitch mount on the back of the jeep and protect them with a swagman bag. This will obscure the tail lights on the jeep, so I would then need to install remote tail lights on the bike rack. Do you know if the roadmaster light kit on the jeep will provide power to the 4-pin trailer light kit and I can just plug the lights on the bike rack into the Jeep as it they were on a trailer?

The 4-pin on the rear of your 2018 Jeep Cherokee Overland wouldn't have power running to it unless it the vehicle was running so the simplest option would be to just bypass the wiring you installed when you plan on flat-towing your vehicle and hauling your bikes and instead using some magnetic lights instead like the Magnetic Tow Lights - Red LEDs - 4-Way Flat Connectors - 20' Long Harness # PE26UR or the Custer Lite-It Magnetic Tow Lights # LIW-AGKIT-SG if you would like a wireless connection.
