The etrailer eDream Deluxe RV Mattress # e84FR is double-sided to allow you to choose between plush and firm sleeping surfaces. You can flip the mattress over for either side, depending on your personal preference. If you choose the "Plush" side you'd be getting a soft firmness level and for the "Firm" side a hard firmness level.
If you're looking for a more medium firmness you would want to get the # e94FR or # e97FR instead.
