Can Wind Sensor be Added to Solera 18V Battery Powered Awning

In order to use the Solera Smart Arm Wind Sensor Kit # LC715123 you will need to be using the Smart Arm assembly which comes in different sizes and colors (listed below). This kit is not compatible with the Solera 18V Power RV Awning # LC730523 that you referenced so if you haven't purchased or installed the 18V kit yet then I recommend going to the Smart Arm system. The Smart Arm system does use 12V power and doesn't include a battery like what comes with the 18V kit so you'll want to keep that in mind when you're planning out the installation. For the Smart Arm assembly you can use one of the following:

Black
63" Arms - # LC759516
69" Arms - # LC759517

White
63" Arms - # LC759404
69" Arms - # LC759405

The Smart Arms are an upgrade to standard 12V power arms because they have an auto rain dump feature to help keep water from pooling, plus you can add that wind sensor kit in addition to other things like the LED Light Kit # LC674282 and Infrared Security Sensor # LC715124.
