Question:
Hi. I just bought a 2013 toyota tacoma access cab and want to purchase the pal8521. Can you tell me or send me something that lets me know where to connect the wires? Everything I seem to find is for a double cab. Thanks

According to Pop and Lock, the power lock and unlock wires for your 2013 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab should be located in the same area as the Double Cab models. You will want to look for a blue/black wire (lock) and a blue/red wire (unlock) behind the driver side kick panel. You will see many wires behind the kick panel, so locating these wires can be tricky.
I strongly recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993, to test the wires before you cut or splice into the wires. The circuit tester will show light up and beep when you lock or unlock the truck if you have the correct wire.
