Will RV Oval Porch Light RVPL7C Hold up to Weather
Published 09/01/2009 >
Question:
If I were to install this light on the exterior of an RV trailer, how well would the switch, which appears to be on the top of the fixture hold out water? It would be easier for me to install this one because it has a switch on the fixture, and there is no need to do a lot of wiring, but maybe the RVPL5C would be better for rain and dust. What do you think?

This RV Porch Light, part # RVPL7C, was designed to be exposed to any weather your RV will see. The switch is on the bottom of the light fixture and the shape of the lens and housing work to keep moisture out. Even the internal parts are corrosion resistant. This part should do just fine on your RV.
