Replacement for Old A-Frame Surge Brake Actuator

Question:
I would like to use this part, DM8759231, on a boat trailer with a 4 inch tongue by bolting it to a 3x3 3/8 inch square tubing or c channel which would then be bolted to the tongue. Attached is a picture of the current setup with the vintage style surge brake and coupler which need to be removed. Thank you for anything you can offer.

I do have an option for you but I don't recommend stacking frame sections so you can bolt-on a new brake actuator. That said, it looks like you have an a-frame actuator and we have several options to replace this. The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator part # DM8759522 would be a great choice. It will require welding and painting. I have attached our full list of a-frame coupler options below.
