To install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56291 in your 2022 Honda Passport you'll need to:

1. Remove the floor covering and then the cargo compartment. There are quarter-turn knobs on each side of the compartment you'll turn and then be able to pull it out.

2. Next you'll remove the threshold by first removing the latch cover and then pulling straight up on the threshold to remove it.

3. On the corner of the driver's side wall you'll see a cargo hook which you'll need to remove by inserting a flat-head screwdriver into the cover under it to access the screw beneath.

4. Further up on the wall you'll see another cargo hook which can be popped out with a pick and then the 8mm bolt behind it can be removed.

5. Now you can start pulling the wall panel away from the wall and carefully pop the clips out. There is a wire connected to this panel that you can remove by depressing the clip on top of the wire connector.

6. Down inside the wall you'll see the factory wiring harness plug which will connect to your # C56291 plug. Next you'll take the white wire with ring terminal from the # C56291 and bolt it to the body of your vehicle to ground the wire.

7. Next you'll want to open the fuse holder on the # C56291 and insert the included fuse.

8. Next you'll open the fuse box under your hood up and insert the included fuse in the "Trailer Main" port.

9. You can now use some zip ties to secure your wiring to the factory wiring and pull the 4-pole wiring connector out and start reinstalling the panel, cargo compartment, and threshold.
