Looking to install a hitch on my car. Make model and year above. Will the ecohitch Item # 306-X7313 work on my ride? And will the bottom of the hitch, where the 2inch section installs be hidden when looking from the back of vehicle? Thanks for your time,

I have a solution for you, but the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver 2" # 306-X7313 is not a fit for your 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan. The correct EcoHitch receiver for your vehicle is EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver 2" # 306-X7393. The receiver itself can be easily unbolted from the hitch, allowing for a completely hidden OEM look.

I really like the fact that this receiver is constructed of a strong alloy that is made of recycled materials like aluminum steel, and stainless steel. Installation is simple which requires no welding or drilling.
