Question:
I have a 20inch Camco pigtail that looks to have the same outside diameter fittings as the old pigtail, however when I look inside the fittings it appears that the insider diameter is narrower than on the old pigtail. I would guess that the Camco inside on the 1/4inch NPT end is only 1/2 the inside diameter of the old pigtail. The green knobinch end also seem so be much narrower. Is what I have usable? What impact will the narrow inside diameter have?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Your Pigtail which is similar to our Camco Propane Supply Hose # CAM59153 has been tested by Camco to ensure that your propane system receives enough flow from the propane tank to the regulator to not have any flow rate issues. As the tank is high pressure and the regulator reduces to low pressure the flow is sufficient to feed the needs of your regulator on your 2016 Forest River Salem Cruise Lite Travel Trailer.
The only impact the narrower design will have is that less propane will be lost inside the hose when you need to remove it for refilling.
