CIPA Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror with Compass, Map Lights and Temperature Display Troubleshooting

Question:
How do I unplug the rear view mirror? The map light stopped fading to Off and stays on when the car is driving and wont fade to off. It also doesnt turn off when the car is off. Itll turn off eventually.

The wiring for the CIPA Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror with Compass, Map Lights and Temperature Display should be plugged directly into the back of the mirror.
You may want to check your end connections that would have been made underneath the dash for a power and ground. The ground wire should be attached to a good metal grounding point, and the power wire is connected to a circuit that is only on with the ignition.
