Choosing the correct suspension enhancement system will depend on which 2011 Silverado you have and how the stock suspension is set up. A 2500 and 3500 Silverado will use the same systems, but the 1500 will be different, so here are a few options.
For a 2011 Silverado 1500, the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS95MR will be a set it and forget it type system, making it very easy to install and use. It will also have a weight capacity of 1,500 pounds at 50% compression but cannot be adjusted. On the other hand, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2430 will be rated higher at 4,800 pounds of load leveling capacity at 50 psi. When not in use it can be aired down to 5 psi, making them feel nonexistent. This will return the ride to as close to stock as possible when not towing.
For a 2011 Silverado 2500 and/or 3500, the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs - 2 Piece # SSR-203-40-2 will have a 3,000 pound capacity, at 50% compression again. Though these will also not be adjustable, the 2 piece style does allow for a better ride when not under load as there is a bit more separation between the top and bottom pieces. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613 will again be rated higher at 5,000 pounds at 100 psi.
With all that being said, I do prefer the Firestone option for either Silverado due to the adjustability. However, they will require inflation and deflation when needed and will be a more involved install. If you will are looking for a set it and forget type system, the SumoSprings will be the way to go.
