Is The Medium QuickFit Tent # TH307056 Freestanding Without The Awning?

Question:
Can the room be detached from the awning if we want to drive away from the camp site and then come back and reattach? Or do we have to disassemble the room if we want to leave to go kayaking?

The Medium QuickFit Tent # TH307056 is not a free standing unit. So if you're wanting to detach from this tent, it won't stay up on it's own. You could just detach it from your awning and then drive away. That way all you have to do when you come back is park in the same spot and attach that three sides.
