Question:

Hello I have a 2016 GMC 2500 with a lowering shackle to make the rear end ride level and not raked up. Do you know the minimum clearance needed between the axle and bump stop to fit these bags? Thank you.

The SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-203-47-2 have a stack height of 6-1/4". These springs will need to have an air gap between the upper and lower spring otherwise you will experience poor ride quality while you are driving without a load. SuperSprings recommends at least 3/4" gap with no load on the rear of your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500.

To measure this on your Sierra you want to take your measurement from the face of the bump stops metal cap down to the pad on the axle where the bump stop will contact. You will want to see a height of 7" for this measurement.
