Will etrailer Hitch for 2021 Volvo XC90 work with Hands Free Liftgate

Use the hands-free foot movement: The sensor is located left of center beneath the bumper. My 2021 XC90 is equipped with a skid plate the sensor located under the left corner of the bumper. Will this hitch work with my T6 Inscription?

We've had customers install the etrailer hitch part # e53KR on the 2021 Volvo XC60 and let us know that the hands-free function still worked. They said the spot they had to move their foot was on the driver side of the hitch.
