I have a great solution for you. The paint on the Westin Diamondstep Rear Bumper # 61000 is a semi-gloss coat. The brackets are purchased separately for this bumper (as opposed to being welded on for installation). However, my contact at Westin confirmed that # 61000 will not work on your 1987 Chevrolet C/K Series pickup. With that being said, the part you need is the Westin Diamondstep Rear Bumper # 20000 along with the Mounting Kit # 92230.
Is it gloss? Semi-gloss. Part # 20000 with the # 92230 mounting kit. Both of these components will work only for fleetside model 1987 Chevy C/K Series Trucks. I went ahead and attached a video of both the bumper and the mounting brackets to this answer.
