Question:

Have a Curt E16 5th wheel mounted in a 2016 Nissan Titan XD Platinum Diesel. BOC to king pin is 36. Current pinbox is a Lippert 1621 and it appears we need an extension of 15inch to prevent crashing the back window of the truck. Can someone call me to figure out what exactly I need?

If I understand correctly, you have a Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # C16115 mounted in the back of a 2016 Nissan Titan XD (6.5 foot bed?). You have a Lippert 1621 Pin Box, # LC1387883, on your 5th wheel but not enough clearance for the cab. I get the impression that you have the hitch mounted on Base Rails such as # C16200. If you have a short bed truck you need, at minimum, the Curt E16 Hitch # C16115, mounted on the Curt R16 Round Tube Slider for E16 Hitches, # C16560.

Another option is to change the pin box for one with a rotating turret. The current options for the Lippert 1621 rated at 16k are, the Sidewinder, # RP34FR and the air-ride, cushioned Sidewinder, # RP61422. You would also need the Sidewinder Wedge Kit for Curt A-Series and E-Series Hitches, # RP64FR.
