Question:
I have a 18 ft 1974 Tahiti tiger bubble jet boat. Will this work if I install the holders on the rails?

It is possible that the Jif Marine Folding Pontoon Ladder - 5 Steps - 54-1/2" Tall - 300 lbs - Aluminum # JIF48FR you were looking at will work on your 1974 Tahiti Tiger 18' Bubble Jet Boat, but it was really designed for pontoon boats.
You will need to verify that the hull and rails of your boat are reinforced enough to support the stress of the ladder.
