The receiver is rated for 525lbs of tongue weight and 3,500lbs trailer weight.

I recommend installing a Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C44ER to give you a 4-way flat connector. With this connector you can add Auxiliary Lights # C53201 to your hitch mounted accessories that block your taillights on your Rogue. It is also required to control the lights on most of the small utility/boat trailers you may tow.
