Troubleshooting Trailer Lights On PopUp Camper Working With One Vehicle But Not Another

My adapter is not working and all works was checked but the ground wire on pop up is not on any metal but lights worked for others should I get that wire removed from my adapter or should both ground wires be connected to something for the lights to work no lights work but does when my uncle plugs it in is truck

Since you mentioned that the trailer lights on your pop-up camper works just fine when connected to your uncle's truck but does not work when plugged in to your vehicle then that leads me to believe the issue is within your vehicles 4-way connector and not the trailer.
However, all of the grounds for the trailer lights do need to be connected to metal surfaces for them to work properly.
I recommend having a friend turn on the turn signals of your vehicle one at a time and then apply the brakes while you test the connector on your vehicle using a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
If you do not get any power in your 4-way connector you will want to check the fuses in the engine bay fuse box that relate to the trailer lights and make sure that they are all installed and not blown.
