Could Hughes Autoformer # HU57FR be Hardwired

Question:
I have a motorhome with a transfer switch. The shore power cable is hardwired to a Progressive Industries surge guard. I would like to mount an Autoformer between the shore power cable and the surge protector. Is there a variant of the Autoformer that is designed for hard mounting in an electric bay without plugs?

Since Hughes Autoformers does not have a version of the Hughes Autoformer Voltage Booster with Surge Protection # HU57FR that was setup for hardwiring you'd have to drill out the rivets on top of the unit to remove the lid so that you could access the wiring that leads to the connectors on either side for wiring it.
