Question:

Im looking for a Happijac tie down system for a 2021 model year GMC Sierra 2500 HD. From what I can see, the kit looks like it will fit. Im not sure if the L bracket that bolts through the box and frame will line up for a 2020+ model year vs. the 2014-2019 model year. Happijac doesnt list a kit to the 2020+ model year. Please advise.

Currently there is not an option for the 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 HD available from Happijac. My recommendation is the TorkLift Talon Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs, # TL44XR for the rear, will work with either the 8' bed or the 6-3/4'. Use either the # TL73QR or # TL43QR for the front depending on 8' bed or the 6-3/4'. I suggest using the guide to select apropriate options for specific vehicle, bed length, with/without board and hitch etc.

I prefer this option of mounting to the frame as it helps to better distribute the weight of a truck camper. And that these tie-down inserts can be easily removed from their frame-mounted receiver brackets when you are not using the truck camper.
