Normally Open or Closed Door Switch for 1800709 Step Controller

Question:

1800709 step controller, what magnetic switch? I have a step that is working backwards, I put part number 378047 in my 1800709 step controller. Did I need part # 905327000?

You just need the opposite switch setup for your powered steps. Since the # LC378047 is normally closed you'd need the normally open version which is the # LC378054. What's interesting is that the black switches are normally open and the white are normally closed.
