Can I get a 72 inch axel that fits under the spring. No clearance for axle above spring Broke old users lung axle 4 on 4 inch hubs 2000 lb trailer

There is a way to make a 72" 2000lb axle overslung (axle underneath springs) but they are not sold that way.

First you will need an axle. I recommend the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with Standard Spindles - 72" Long - 2,000 lbs # T20BTR-7258 which has the 72" hub face to hub face measurement you are needing.

Next you will need to remove the pre-installed spring seats and have the # TRSS175 welded in the correct location on the other side of the axle in the correct location to match your leaf springs.

Lastly I recommend going ahead and replacing the U-bolt kits while replacing the axle. The a 2000lb axle you will need the # APUBR-10.
