Question:
will the receiver interfere with the auto life gate foot activation.

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98846 should not interfere with the operation of your foot activated lift gate on your 2020 Nissan Rogue. You will need to position your foot very close to the trailer hitch on the rear of your Rogue to get the sensor to detect your foot.
I recommend the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143645 to allow for you to tow with a trailer or to use any auxiliary lights in case your bike rack/cargo carrier block your taillights.
