Question:

I recently purchased a RetroxOne truck cover and found that yall sell the above item number for that cover. I need to get some bike racks to fit the cross bars. As i look for some online it seems some wrap around and clamp on crossbar while others slide into a slot within the crossbar. Can these cross bars handle each of those or only one way? And if only one way which one. Thanks.

The Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbar System for Retrax XR Series and Mountain Top EVO-M Tonneau Covers - Black - 71" Long, part # RRVA180B-RRRLT600, comes with Vortex Crossbars. These are the crossbars that come with Rhino Roof Racks, so you will be able to attach bike accessories that clamp to the crossbars or any that attach to the channel. I prefer bike racks that clamp to the crossbar because they are easier to mount to the crossbars and they are more versatile since not all crossbars have a channel.

If you are looking for a roof mounted bike rack I recommend the Yakima HighRoad Roof Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Clamp On, part # Y02114. It secures the bike by the wheels, so the clamping mechanism never touches the frame. I suggest also getting Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 2), part # Y07202. The clamp for the rear wheel has a spot for a lock core, meaning you can lock the rack to your vehicle. There is also an integrated cable that uses a lock core. Once the lock core is installed you can secure the bike to your bike rack.
