As long as your 2018 Audi A3 Curt # C11399 you'd looked at because its not recessed as far under the vehicle, which makes it easier to find compatible hitch mounted accessories like bike racks. In order for a hitch mounted accessory to be compatible with this hitch, it must have a shank on it that measures longer than 6-1/2 inches, measured from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest upright portion of the hitch accessory. If your accessory has a shorter shank than that, the upright will touch the rear bumper and you won't be able to seat the accessory into the hitch far enough for the hitch pin to secure it in place. You will also need a stabilizer strap like the # 18050.
