Question:

I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500hd drw. The recurve is a 3” receiver and I use an insurer to accommodate a 2” stinger. Will this still be compatible with the mudflats?

As long as the ball mount that you're using is a 2" then you can use the Roadmaster RoadWing Removable, Expandable Mud Flap System for RVs, Buses and Dual-Tire Trucks # RM-4400-102 without any issues. These mudflaps do not connect directly to the receiver so you should be able to make this work on your 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500.

If you don't have a 3" to 2" reducer sleeve you can use the Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeves - 3" to 2-1/2" or 2" # C45408. I've linked our entire selection of ball mounts to this answer, as well.
