The Solera 18V Power RV Awning - 16' Wide - Rechargeable Battery - Black Fade # LC729486 requires 69" of open space on the wall of RV from awning rail straight down for installation of wall-mounted brackets and a minimum clearance of 2-1/2" between awning rail and top of entry door.
Awnings can be placed almost anywhere on your camper as long as the arms aren't coming into contact with anything (i.e. window, door, slide out, light, or another awning). With your 2004 Carriage Cameo LXI F35CKQ being 35' you should have no problem picking a place for this awning if there isn't another awning currently attached on the side you're wanting to place this one. If you're looking for a replacement you'll want to measure your current awning so you can place these arms directly over the old holes.
The roller tube is 16' long and the arms are about 3" wide so you'll just need to choose where you want one of the arms to be and then measure over 16' and then another 3" of space to ensure the second arm isn't coming into contact with anything else.
