The letters you mentioned after the wheel width are the wheel contour. Wheel contour is the design of the beads on the wheels, and while they are important, they will work with nearly all tires correct for that width and size.
Typically the wheel contour letter is more commonly found on wheels on heavy trucks and trailers, or agricultural vehicles.
