What size hitch would fit my 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 for a trailer?

I'd recommend the Curt # C15572 which is the highest capacity hitch we offer for your truck, 15000 lbs towing or 1500 lbs tongue weight (maximum downward force that can be safely applied to hitch). If weight distribution is used, the capacity rises to 16000 towing/1600 lbs tongue weight. This hitch provides a 2 inch receiver.
