Wiring Connection For Passenger Side Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness on 2019 Chevrolet Express 3500 Van
Updated 05/26/2021 | Published 05/22/2021 >
Question:
The connector that is described in the video as connecting to the passenger side tail light connector is the wrong style for my 2019 Express 3500. The Curt wiring harness connectors are a 6 pin style on both sides. The vehicle has a 6 pin connector on the drivers side but the passenger side is an eight pin connector. The package indicates that the harness fits 2014-2017 vans and your website said this was a confirmed fit for a 2019 van. Do you have another harness that will fit a 2019 Express 3500?

Expert Reply:
The 6-pin connector for the passenger side of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 55540 on your 2019 Chevrolet Express is located about 8" higher behind the upper trim panel.
You can follow the wiring that comes from the taillight to the correct connector. I have also included a video from the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118392 that shows the connector a bit more clearly.
