Question:
I want to connect my 2019 Subaru Outback to the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer Item # MAL53FR. My vehicle has the factory 1 1/4inch OEM hitch receiver. I do not know the trailer height requirements as planning to buy this trailer and want to ensure I get all the parts also to connect it. The height of the OEM hitch receiver top is about 15 3/8 inches see picture The hitch mount I have has approx. 15/16 inch hole see picture With the hitch mount in, the height top of it without ball is approx 16. 3/8 What parts do I need to connect to the Malone EcoLight trailer? i.e., hitch ball, adapter, etc. Thank you.

The Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer - 58" Crossbars # MAL53FR requires a 2" ball and also measures 16" from the coupler to the ground. I was not able to see any photos of your setup, but it does sound like your current ball mount will work well. Since you measured about 16-1/2" from the ball mount to the ground, this will provide for a level trailer.
You measured 15/16" on the ball mount hole which is likely made to work with balls that have a 1" shank. For this, I recommend going with the 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter Shank # 40038. You can try measuring again and if you actually happen to have a 3/4" hole in the ball mount then I would go with 2" Hitch Ball - 3/4" Diameter Shank # C40018, but I am almost certain you have the 1" hole in which the # 40038 would be your best option.
You do not need anything else to use this trailer. I attached demonstration videos for you to check out.
