The instructions for trailer hitch # C13001, see link, indicate that if your 2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara has the rear door mounted spare tire you should not have to trim the fascia to install the hitch. So for your vehicle all indications are that you will not have to trim.
The wiring for your Grand Vitara is # 56002. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view. The connectors on the wiring harness will plug in line with the tail light wiring on the vehicle.
To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
