The Derale # D12906 is a universal-fit aftermarket part that will fit your 2007 Grand Cherokee if the space behind the grille and in front of the A/C condenser and radiator can accommodate its 13 by 7-3/4 inch dimensions. If the available space is to small to allow installation of the D12906, we have smaller plate-fin style coolers like part # D13502 that are actually more efficient at cooling your transmission fluid. This cooler would typically be installed so it would be last in line on the return line from the radiator. The hot fluid would leave the transmission, run through the cooler in the radiator, through the OE transmission cooler then through the supplemental cooler before returning to the transmission.
The Derale # D13028 fittings are recommended for your 3/8 inside diameter transmission lines.
These coolers are meant as supplemental coolers, not as direct replacements for OE equipment.
