I purchased one of these and noticed the instructions which came with it said to connect negative cables to posts 1, 2, and common. I did not think this sounded correct and called Wirthco customer service. The engineer I spoke with told me that the instruction card was printed wrong and that it should say positive cables to posts. Luckily I did not follow written instructions. Just wanted to make you aware.

Instead of using two adapter the part #A10-1550DAVP would be a better option as it goes from a 50 amp twist lock female to 15 amp male like you need. Of if you wanted a longer setup the part #A10-1550D90VP is 12 inches long and has a 90 degree elbow.…
