I have the pintle hook as described above using a ball and hitch assy. I want to have the pintle and lunnette as backup. Can I assemble the lunnette ring onto a ball assy adapter?

I do have a solution that I think will work for you. If you can mount a Bulldog channel to the front of the trailer, # BDAC5000300, then you could use a coupler like # BDA200C0317, AND use lunette ring # 337B16137 when needed.
We also have the pintle hook combo # TR63041 for a 2 inch ball, # TR63042 for a 2-5/16 inch ball to adapter the vehicle end of the set up.
