Troubleshooting Truck Bed Camera That Splits The Screen With Truck Bed Camera And Tail Gate Camera

Question:

I have a 2017 Ford f-250SD XL. I installed your truck bed camera for the 4.2” screen. It works, but when I switch from the factory camera to the truck bed the screen splits with the bottom portion of the picture on top and the top of the picture on the bottom. When I switch back to the factory camera I get the same result.

I talked to the vendor about this situation and was told it is a common thing with the F-250. They stated that the screen can get flipped like that when you put your truck into reverse and then switch to the cargo camera and by doing so it causes the already-engaged factory reverse camera to partially disengage while the cargo/bed camera activates. The solution is that if you choose to engage the cargo camera during this time, you will want to flip the toggle switch to the cargo/bed camera BEFORE putting the vehicle into reverse which allows full image for the cargo/bed camera.

If this does not resolve the issue then let me know and I will look into it furthermore.
