Rapid Hitch Shank Replacement for Additional Drop

Question:
I recently bought the Rapid Hitch and I measured the overall length of the down shank and it measured 9. I need to lower my ball approximately an additional 3 inches. Will the 10inch help lower my current shank down 3 inches?
