Well I installed the tuner and when I turn up the tune to 5 nothing changes not sure if I have to hook up to a computer to tune it or what to do

You need to update the firmware on your tuner # EP54FR first. If you haven't already this could be the problem.

1) Go to www.edgeproducts.com click the updates tab and download the update agent.
2) Click the RUN button on the pop-up menu.
3) Read and click the box to accept the license agreement terms, then select INSTALL.
4) Select the CLOSE button after the installation has successfully completed.
5) Double-click the Update Agent 1.0 desktop icon.
6) Fill out the registration form.

Then you can Open the Update Agent 1.0 program, located on the desktop. Connect device to the computer using the supplied USB Cable.
(Update Agent 1.0 will automatically search for updates related to the device.) Then, Click the Update button. The update process will start and finish automatically.

Start there and let me know if that doesn't work and we can try something else.
