Ive got a SportRack A30704 and was curious if this knob is threaded to fit my rack as well? It more closely matches my existing star shaped knobs. Thanks much,

The recommended replacement knob for your Sportrack # A30704 would be the Replacement Non-Locking Knob for SportRack Hitch Mounted Bike Racks # SR05003300000.
I spoke to my contact at Sportrack and they said that the Replacement Knob # 050045 that you referenced has a different thread size than what is on your rack and would not work for you.
