Does The Voltage Change When Using Only 30 Amp Service On Item # A10-5030AVP

Question:
Clarification please on a previous response regarding this item. In https://www.etrailer.com/question-299148.html, the question was about amperage, which of course the adapter wont change. But the answer stated that neither does the VOLTAGE change, which is contrary to my understanding of 30A to 50A adapters. 50A is used for 240V lines, and 30A for 125V. According to another etrailer article, https://www.etrailer.com/faq-30-amp-50-amp-rv-service-adapters.aspx, the 30A to 50A adapter does indeed the voltage to 125V by essentially disconnecting one of the hot pins on the 50A side. Can you please clarify? Thanks!

You are correct. When Item # A10-5030AVP is used for 50 am service, the connector will provide 240 volts. When used for 30 amp service it will only provide 120 volts. So the volts do change by essentially not using one of the hot pins.
