Question:
Hi. I have a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder without a tow package. I have a hitch but I do not have a trailer wiring package. What other equipment do I need and do you sell it? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
We do indeed have trailer connector harnesses that will work with your 2018 Pathfinder.
If you needed a 4-pole trailer connector, use # 118670. For a 7-way trailer connector, use # 118273. Both harness kits include the relays needed to activate the trailer wiring tow package.
If you use the 7-way and the trailer has electric brakes, you'll need a brake controller to actuate them. The Tekonsha Primus, part # TK90160 is a reasonably priced proportional controller that would provide reliable, predictable and safe braking. You'll also need the # 3050-P brake controller wiring harness.
If your tailer has a surge coupler with a 5-pole trailer connector, the # 118273 used along with the # 707250 adapter you'd looked at is what I'd recommend using.
I've linked to install videos for the products mentioned above.
